Section One - Introduction To Windows
At this time in history it is important to learn how to use computers and computer software. During these tutorials you will be able to demonstrate that you have learned how to use the computers and some software applications in our lab here at Salmo Secondary. You will also learn many other things about computers, E-mail, and the Internet.
How Tutorials Are Going To Work
You will work more or less at your own rate; however, you must keep up to the schedule that is posted in class. After each tutorial, you will demonstrate your knowledge by showing Ms. Beaulieu what is required for that particular section. At the end of each 'Section', you will take a small written quiz, and demonstrate some 'hands on' tasks that were covered in the Section. For example, the first tutorial is "Start up and shut down the computer system and peripherals", and the first section is "Basic Computer Operation Skills".
