It is expected that students will :

  • creating games using Game Maker 5

1. Dilbert "Strip of the Day"

2. Keyboarding Stretch of the Day

3. Go to the Game Maker Web Site and read about the program you will be using for the next 6 periods.

4. The program and all documentation and tutorials can be downloaded from the site for free. I have placed what we are using on the salsec server to save download times!

5. Read the pdf file on "What is a good game?". This is from the GM4 Web Site

6. Download and install the Demo Version of "Game Maker 5.1".

7. Download and unzip Tutorial: Your First Game (Catch the Clown), and create your first game!
