4. You should know the following before you write the quiz on lesson 2

   • identify the status bar and the information available on it
   • identify and use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars
   • identify and know the following 'non-printing' characters :
     • - tab
     •   - space
     • ¶ - end of paragraph
     • ... - hidden text
     • Ø - nonbreaking hyphen
   access the "Recently Used File List"
   • know which menu item to use to turn on/off the options above. (ie. Tools --> Options (view tab))
   • highlight using the keyboard only (using F8, shift and the arrow keys)
   • how to access drop down menus from the Menu bar using the keyboard only.
