It is expected that students will :

• This section of the course emphasizes acquiring touch-typing skills using a computer. Its goals include mastery of proper technique involving correct fingering, body posture, and overall knowledge of key functions. It includes :

  • Adjust chair and work station/equipment to meet ergonomic requirements.
  • Demonstrate appropriate posture.
  • Use rest/exercise periods appropriately.
  • Operate keyboard using typing techniques with designated accuracy.

3. Keyboarding - 15 minutes - Try some Improvement Exercises today.

4. Work on the Windows Tutorial 1.1. DO NOT TAKE NOTES! Only answer the questions linked at the bottom of the tutorial. You should have the questions all answered in complete sentences and be ready to write the quizzes next class.

5. You must write the quiz on the Windows tutorial 1.1 next period.

6. Start collecting research for the "ISSUES" assignment. It is lots of fun once you catch on.
