C.  Late arrivals and notes for absences.

Please arrive and be ready for class on time.  IF YOU ARIVE LATE AT MORNING OR AFTERNOON BREAKS YOU RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC 5 MINUTE DETENTION. You are responsible for any assignments due or missed.  You may see me to find out what you missed- the responsibility is yours. You may also want to obtain a phone number of a friend to call in order to find out what you missed in class, or you can check on our web site.

D. Assignments and Exams.

Assignments are due at the beginning of the period on the due date, deductions of marks will be made for late assignments. No assignments will be accepted after 1 week from the due date. If you are absent you must find out what you have missed and hand in your homework assignment one period after your return to class.

There will be many small online quizzes throughout each unit. Often you will be working at your own pace and will write the quizzes when you have covered the appropriate material.

At the end of each unit a one hour in class test will be given. Students who are absent for these tests will have to arrange a time to come in during tutorial block to write them or else receive a grade of 0% on that test. Students should take the initiative to arrange for these makeup tests.
