It is expected that students will:

• demonstrate an understanding of the following programming language concepts:
  • reduced vocabulary
  • translation to programming language
  • syntax and grammar

1. Dilbert "Strip of the Day"

2. Download and install the Demo Version of "Game Maker 5.1".

3. Finish creating your second game. It should still be unzipped onto your U: drive. If not you can download it Tutorial: Creating a Maze!

4. Create your own game!

5. This is the Criteria for your game :

   • Clear Objective
   • 4 levels/screens
   • Scoring
   • Help file with game instructions
   • Enemies / Lives
   • Citations for sprites and backgrounds in Closing Credits
   • Bonus : Timer or Boss or ??? something great!

6. You do NOT have to do them, but there are another 4 tutorials available for download, to read about them go to the Game Maker Web Site. Download them here (it will be much faster) :
