Draw a flow chart to represent the following steps. Make sure your flow chart has at least two diamonds (decision points)--one for step 4 and another for step 7. This should take only 15 minutes. Hand draw this using a pencil.

2. Turn on the Video Cassette Recorder (VCR).
3. Turn on the TV.
4. Set the TV channel to 3 if it isn't on 3 already.
5. Check to see if the tape needs rewinding.
6. Place the tape marked "Video 1" in the VCR.
7. Press Rewind if the tape needed rewinding.
8. Press Play.
9. Relax and watch the tape.

Flowchart B. Easy Dinner for Two People
1. If you don't have ingredients, go to the store and buy 1 pound of pasta, 1 stick of butter, 1 pint of parmesian cheese.
2. Put pot of water on stove, turn on the heat and bring to a boil. Add pasta and put lid on pot.
3. If water boils over, turn down heat.
4. Wait five minutes and taste to see if it is done.
5. If pasta is al dente, dtrain in colander.
6. If pasta is not cooked enough, wait two minutes and taste it again.
7. If pasta is overcooked and mushy, drain and throw it away. Then go to the store and get some more pasta and start over again.
8. Once the properly cooked pasta is drained, put back in a pot with 3/4 stick of butter.
9. Stir gently and let butter melt completely. Check to make sure there are no pieces of solid butter before going to next step.
10. Add two thirds of the cheese to the pasta and stir.
11. Divide pasta into two even portions. Sprinkle the final third of cheese on Paul's plate if he is joining you.
