"It would be going too far to say I was actually in 'Edward Scissorhands' because I was so far in the background that you can't tell it's me. It would be better to say I was on the set of the film...I was in the scene when Edwared looks out of a window to the neighborhood. For a split second he sees some kids playing-one of them was me.(awwwwwwwww, isn't that cute.) I was sliding on a yellow piece of plastic we used to call a slip n' slide. They were long flat sheets with water coming out of holes and were really popular with kids at the time. I had to slide on one in the background of the shot. It was great fun being on the set, but it was really cold and they made us do it a lot of times."(Poor Nicky)

It all started about 5 years ago when Nick Carter, A.J Mclean and Howie Dorough stared seeing each other at local auditions in Orlando, FL. After they got to know each other and began singing together they decided to form a group and wanted to gather more members. Kevin Richardson and his cousin Brian Litrell had been performing fo the chuch choir and they both came from musical families to begin with Kevin decided to go to Orlando, FL and there he became a tour guide for Disney World. He heard about the trio and that they wanted to recruit some more members. After hearing the guys harmonizing Kevin decided to join the band. They felt that a fifth member was needed, so Kevin rang Brian in Kentucky and he flew down to join them. The backstreet boys were then born. They performed in various places and eventually got a record deal. They have come out with a string of hits (including "We've got it goin' on; Anywhere for you and quite playing games with my heart) and their self entitled defult album has reached platinum and doulble platnum status in countries all around the world.
