During 2001/2002 Salmo Secondary School had six Volleyball team. There were two 7/8 girl's team and one 7/8 boy's team, a Jr.Girls team that consisted of grades 9 and 10 & a Jr.Boy's team which consisted of grades 9, 10 and 11. Since Salmo doesn't have a Sr.Boy's team the grade 11 boy's that wanted to play volleyball were able to do so on the Jr. team.
