Hello! This year we had six basketball teams!That was pretty good considering that during basketball season there was a job action happening. We had a girl's and boy's 7/8 team, a Jr.Girl's and Jr.Boy's team, as well as a Sr.Girl's and Sr.Boy's team. Having a complete team this year was tough for he Sr.Girls because the team was small to begin with, and with the job action that didn't help motivate the players to continue playing! However we pulled together and finished our season! Basketball is a very big with the Sr.Boy's of our school. A good majority of them play, and thanks to awesome coaching they became an amazing team last year and they made it to the Provincials! First time in many years since that has happened in any sport for us! This year wasn't as great for the boy's, however they played awesome and will continue to play next year! Good luck boys!
