Objectives : students should be able to :

• Mole Conversions (molar mass, mole, # of particles, volume, stoichiometry)
• Molarity and Solutions (concentration, dilutions, dissociation reactions, ion concentrations, net ionic equations and solubility)
• Gases (molar volume)
• Thermodynamics (heat, temperature, endo and exothermic reactions)

 

Part I - Review - Notes :

Introduce Chemistry 12, give course outline, and go over Intended Learning Outcomes.

Give review notes and examples on pages 1-1 to 1-9 on the topics listed above.

Part II - Review - Worksheets :

Have students do sheet #1 and sheet #2 for practice.
