Scientists search to understand in an organized way, using the Scientific Method, they :

à search for clues and/or experiment

à analyze

à reach conclusions and/or question some more

Their goal is to find explanations that describe more than one phenomenon (called a theory)

they use mathematics to explain experimental data & predict new results
